Staff Engagement Task Force Meeting Notes | 10/23/24

The Staff Engagement Task Force (SETF) met on Oct. 23, 2024. We began by discussing the SETF presentation for the staff assembly scheduled for November 13, 2024. Then, we began brainstorming on recommendations to be implemented. Some of the suggestions included creating a digital suggestion box, implementing a “career pathways” program, and implementing a transparent equity scorecard. Concerns were raised about the recommendations, such as making equity “scorable” or “competitive,” the small sizes of certain units not allowing for anonymity, and the shared services model impacting these recommendations.

We ended on subcommittee updates and action items regarding the assembly presentation. One of these action items included seeking clarification from leadership regarding the vision for recommendations and exploring potential approaches, such as combining related questions into broader recommendations.
