Andrew-Maynard Goutier

MA in Public History

As one of our PlusOne students on an accelerated track, Alex graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in History and Political Science this past May and is working towards graduating with a master’s in Public History this December 2024. He spent his time at Northeastern gaining as much work experience as possible — working for Goodwin Procter LLP and the Boston Consulting Group, as well as taking time to operate as a work study student in our Center for Spirituality Dialogue and Service. He’s put immense time into academia, not only graduating summa cum laude, but contributing to the Dragon Prayer Book project here at Northeastern, co-authoring research paper “Pitching a Pint: A History of Guinness Advertising in the Early 20th Century” with fellow graduate student Alexander Roth, and most recently, working as the Descendants and Interpretive Partnerships Intern with the National Parks Service at the Longfellow House National Historic Site.
