Jessica Lynch-Foust

Human Services and International Affairs major, Global Social Enterprise Minor
Social Impact Lab Alum

Graduated in 2020

Jessica Lynch-Foust graduated in 2020 as Human Services and International Affairs and major with a minor in Global Social Enterprise. During her time at Northeastern she studied and worked in five countries on three different continents, giving her an immense appreciation for the intersection between social issues and culture. In Zambia and India, Jess gained a passion for culturally competent development and took lessons learned to Indonesia where she worked with the United Nations Development Program to create a social enterprise intensive for rural college students. Aside from playing Frisbee and working in the Social Impact Lab, Jess also worked as a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant, where she gained skills as a facilitator, communicator, and liaison between community partners and students. Jess plans to use her degree to help transform the way social impact is thought about within the private sector, truly believing that every person, regardless of occupation, has a role to play in building community and improving social outcomes for all.
