Subgroup Meeting Points – 9/30 – 10/4

The Feedback Systems Subcommittee met on 9/30/24. We discussed the management of feedback form submissions and established a bi-weekly review process for received feedback. We noted submissions received so far and identified an outstanding item regarding the inclusion of staff in the organizational chart, particularly considering the move to Shared Services. The missed opportunity for soliciting feedback at the Fall Welcome event was also highlighted. Action items were assigned to ensure continued progress.

The Communications Subcommittee met 10/1/24. We started our discussion with our website and its post repository, as well as how we should communicate that out in a mindful way. As the Data Subcommittee pulls together their report, we discussed beginning the process of crafting recommendations to leadership, which is a major outcome of our Task force at large. We talked about how one of them would likely be communications-oriented, and brainstormed ideas of centralizing information and building community through communication and feedback channels.

The Data Analysis Subcommittee met on 10/2/24. We reviewed the qualitative data from the recent staff survey. A prominent goal is to analyze this feedback to develop actionable recommendations for enhancing staff engagement. Participants emphasized the importance of categorizing responses into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments to facilitate deeper understanding. The Data Analysis subcommittee will work on synthesizing the survey results into an initial draft report by the end of October.
