Prof. Natasha Frost answers “3Qs” on for-profit prisons

Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice Natasha Frost answers Northeastern News’s “3Qs” about the increase of for-profit prisons. Professor Frost’s research has looked at the effects of incarceration on individuals, families, and communities. She has also previously assessed state-level variations in punitiveness towards woman for the Women’s Prison Association in New York. These issues and more were discussed in our March 2016 symposium, “Sex, Gender, and the Carceral State.”
