Dean of the College of Engineering receives honors, charts bold vision for the program

Nadine Aubry, Dean of the College of Engineering, has been honored in recent months with a variety of accolades and appointments, such as being elected president of the International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, becoming the first woman to hold the position and only the fourth person in the US to be selected for the role. Since becoming dean in 2012, she has implemented a variety of multiple centers, departments, and programs within the college. Moving forward, she is working to create a new bachelor degree program in environment  engineering, citing the fact that the program is likely to attract high numbers of women and underrepresented minorities.
