Panel discusses media challenges in the 2016 election

At the most recent Myra Kraft Open Classroom discussion last week, a panel of three Northeastern professors looked at the factors that have made covering this election unlike any in American history. The panel included WGSS affiliated faculty member and Assistant Professor of Communication Studies Carole Bell, who discussed the impact of pop culture and Donald Trump’s history of celebrity on his campaign.
