Professor examines the emotional power of Emily Dickinson’s poetry in new book

Mary Loeffelholz, professor of English and interim dean of the College of Professional Studies, has recently published a new book entitled The Value of Emily Dickinson. Loeffelholz, who is a Dickinson scholar whose previous works include the book Dickinson and the Boundaries of Feminist Theory, aimed to look beyond scholarly critique in this book and instead look at the longstanding literary value and popularity of the poet.
