Swimming and Diving team posts record finishes at Rutgers

The swimming and diving team finished third overall at the Frank Elm Invitational hosted by Rutgers University. The team finished with 1,194.50 points, which was achieved with 45 athletes advancing to the finals, 27 top ten finishes, 24 season bests, and three school records. Freshman Megan Clark achieved three records over the weekend, swimming a season best 23.29 on Friday in the 50 freestyle preliminary round and posting a new school record 23.06 in the finals. She also broke the school recoed in the 100 freestyle with 50.29 later that weekend.

In diving, juniors Jacquelyn Gover and Alyssa Seales qualified for the NCAA Zone A diving championships. Northeastern divers dominated at the contest, placing all five divers in the top ten for both the one meter and three meter events. Following the Invitational, Gover was named CAA Co-Diver of the Week by the conference.
