Humanities Center Fellowship welcomes WGSS scholars

The Northeastern Humanities Center has announced the faculty members, graduate students, and visiting scholar who will make up the “Whose Story?” fellowship group. The 2017-2018 Humanities Center Fellows will collaborate and pursue research around “how contemporary narratives of identity and experience, belonging and exclusion, are fostered or censored; how criteria of truth, feeling, or opinion are harnessed to assert a narrative’s importance; and how social and cultural institutions mediate the circulation of these narratives.”

Lori Lefkovitz (WGSS Executive Committee member, professor of English, and director of the Humanities Center) will facilitate the research group, which includes WGSS Executive Committee members Kathrin Zippel and Jessica Silbey.
