Margo Lindauer (Law professor, Director of Northeastern’s Domestic Violence Institute, and WGSS executive committee member) weighs in with her expertise that “it’s not uncommon to be both a victim of violence and a perpetrator of it.” While Maxwell may be complicit with Epstein’s heinous crimes, Lindauer points out that there are also signs of coercive control in their relationship.
