Each March (beginning in March of 2014), the WGSS program celebrates Women’s History Month with a day-long symposium focusing on one central theme and featuring panels of speakers in dialogue with one another and their audience. The symposium is open to Northeastern faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and interested parties from outside the university. We announce the centralizing theme and date for the annual symposium in the months leading up to the event each year. To view more information about past symposia, please click here.
The 2019 Symposium theme is Feminist Resilience: Structures & Strategies for Troubled Times. Save the date of Friday, March 15 to join us at the Cabral Center. To learn more about the event, and to see a full schedule of events and list of speakers, visit the event website. Free registration is required by March 8. We recommend registering early as we always sell out!
