In Memoriam of Legendary LGBTQ Activist, Urvashi Vaid

News @ Northeastern recently published an article memorializing the life of Northeastern graduate and LGBTQ+ activist Urvashi Vaid. Vaid graduated from Northeastern Law School in 1983 and is known for her intersectional approach to activism. After graduating from Northeastern, Vaid went on to work at the American Civil Liberties Union’s National Prison Project in Washington, D.C., and serve as the executive director of the National LGBTQ Task Force.
