Northeastern Students and Faculty Recognized for Scholarship, Research, Leadership, and Innovation at 15h Academic Honors Convocation 

On April 16, 2025, Northeastern University held its 15th annual Academic Honors Convocation at Blackman Auditorium on the Boston campus, celebrating outstanding achievements in scholarship, research, teaching, and innovation across its 13 global campuses. The event honored top-performing undergraduate and graduate students, as well as distinguished faculty members.  

K.J. Rawson, Professor of English and WGSS and Director of the Humanities Center, along with Oliver Ayers and Kirsten Saxton have received the Northeastern Global Accelerator Award. 

President Joseph E. Aoun praised the honorees, stating, “When we look at all your achievements and all that you have done, we are extremely excited about the future of this university, the future of this nation and indeed the future of this world.” He emphasized the community’s talent and its role in shaping the future.
