The recent CommonWealth Magazine article, “Gov. Healy’s Opportunity to Drive Transformative Change”, is co-authored by WGSS Executive Committee Member Jennie Stephens (Public Policy and Urban Affairs), as well as associate professor Tiffany Joseph (Sociology). The article highlights steps for newly inaugurated Governor Healy in order to drive change in her historic first term. The authors urge Gov. Healy to address Massachussett’s ongoing housing crisis, ensure higher education opportunities for low-income individuals, and implement transformative healthcare policy, among other policy directives.
