News @ Northeastern recently published an article on  how the issues with the global petroleum market should lead governments to move away from fossil fuels and yet the world continues to double-down on oil and gas in the short term.

WGSS executive committee member, Jennie Stephens, Dean’s Professor of Sustainability Science and Policy, weighed in. “Any disruption creates an opportunity for change to incentivize the transformation that is needed.”
