Professor Vanessa Wei presented her paper “Engaging Advanced Chinese Language Students in Community  Service” in the 17th New York International Conference on Teaching Chinese in New York City in May 2019.

Professor Vanessa Wei was invited to give a talk on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in North America at the Department of Chinese as a Second Language at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan in June 2019.

Professor Ann Cai presented her paper “How to Effectively Teach Grammar & Vocabulary Based on Two Interrelated Models” in the 8th NECLTA Chinese Language Teachers Association Conference in Boston in October 2019.

Professor Ann Cai is going to present her paper “The Applications of Digital Games and AI Chatbots in Foreign Language Instruction” in the ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo in Washington DC in Nov 22-24, 2019

Hua Dong presented her paper, “Teaching Chinese Food Culture at Advanced Level in College: Two Cases” at the 8th New England Chinese Language Teachers Association (NECLTA) Annual Conference, Boston University, Oct. 5, 2019.
