Most polls in the first weeks of Trump’s second term show that more people approve his performance at work than to disapprove. However, the calculations published on January 28 by Fivethirtyeight polls aggregators have shown that the margin between Trump’s approval and the disapproval of the survey means was the second lower among any other newly elected president since the Second World War, with the exception of his first mandate. And this margin, also known as a clear approval rating, decreased as more surveys were published, from around 7 percentage points on 27 to 1.3 percentage points on February 20, according to the Fivethirtyeight survey. The surveys made during the first month in power of Trump come when his administration launched a burst of executive actions, the challenges of the courts and the directives. Thousands of employees offered have been sidelined. The administration seeks to reshape federal agencies.

Costas Panagopoulos, head of political science at the Northeastern University, says that it is fair to compare Trump’s early approval notes during his second term with the former newly inaugurated presidents.
