Becky Buchmelter

Becky Buchmelter joined CSSH Co-op in late 2025, following 2.5 years with Northeastern’s CAMD Co-op team and 8 years in Co-ops & Careers at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Working with Economics and Criminal Justice students feeds her lifelong curiosity about global cultures, systems at work, and how to have a positive impact on society. A seasoned advisor and instructor, she draws from exposure to a variety of industries and prior experience in Boston nonprofits, national start-ups, human resources, and healthcare. Becky was a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador and is fluent in Spanish. She stays current through professional associations such as the Career Counselors’ Consortium, local mentoring programs, and engagements such as the Cooperative Education and Industry Association (CEIA) conference. She earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brandeis University.
