Assistant Teaching Professor of Economics
Ilter Bakkal’s teaching and research interests are in environmental economics and microeconomics. As a longtime member of the faculty, he has taught a wide range of courses, including History of Economic Thought, Microeconomic Theory, Environmental Economics, and the Senior Seminar. In addition to his classroom teaching, he has led a Dialogue of Civilizations program, providing students with opportunities for experiential and global learning.
