Rebecca Markarian

Rebecca Markarian is an Assistant Co-op Coordinator primarily working with undergraduate students, graduate students, employers, and faculty within the Political Science program and the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. In this role, Rebecca supports students in securing co-op placements that align with their interests, strengths, skills and career goals.

Rebecca joined CSSH in 2026, bringing extensive experience in career advising, education policy, and future readiness across diverse educational settings. Throughout her career, she has championed experiential learning opportunities for high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, career changers, international students, and first-generation college students.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Rebecca worked at the College of the Holy Cross for 3 years where she advised and managed two student career communities focused on government, international affairs, and law along with social impact and education.
