Postdoctoral Teaching Associate in English

Shao-wei Huang received his PhD in English at University at Buffalo, SUNY. Interested in literary and writing studies, his teaching and research interests include eighteenth-century Gothic fictions and satires, first-year writing, writing center theories, and translingualism.

As a writing instructor, he is most interested in helping students transition their perception of English from an academic subject to a social action that expresses identities and nurtures innovative ways of thinking.
