This is the contract for unpaid or low paid-stipend co-ops for SU2/FA 2024. Please do not submit the contract unless you have been notified that your application for funding your unpaid or low paid/low-stipend co-op has been approved.
Contract for Funding an Unpaid or Low-Paid/Stipend Co-op Position
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities has approved your application for funding your upcoming co-op position as described below. The principles and procedures governing this funding and how you will access it are as follows: To receive your funding, you must complete and submit this contract by end of day Wednesday, June 28th. You must also submit documentation verifying your employment (a copy of your job offer letter/email) with this contract to finalize your funding. Your funding will be disbursed to your student account following receipt of this signed contract and the employment documentation described above. Once the funds are disbursed to your account, Student Financial Services will automatically issue you a refund through direct deposit or check. You must have a credit balance on your account to be eligible for a refund. Additionally, to receive this funding your student account must be in good standing with the University. In order to retain the funding, you are required to complete your commitment for the entire length of your co-op placement. Should you terminate your employment for any reason, you will be required to repay the amount of the scholarship funding to the College. Failure to repay this amount may result in late fees and a hold on your account. University administration reserves the right to change this contract without notice.
