Data Consultant - Boston Area Research Initiative

Join the Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) as our PhD Data Consultant! The Data Consultant plays a crucial role in our efforts to make our work with community-centered data accessible to others—including community organizations and public officials in the greater Boston area as well as faculty and students across campus. The Data Consultant has three primary tasks: (1) design curricula that teach the skills for leveraging community-centered data for a range of audiences, including high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and community representatives; (2) contribute to the maintenance of the contents of BARI’s Boston Data Portal (https://cssh.northeastern.edu/bari/boston-data-portal/); and (3) hold individual consultations with faculty, students, and community organizations on the use of data.
