Deryni Mahoney

Deryni Mahoney is the administrative assistant for the Department of Philosophy and Religion and the Ethics Institute. Deryni manages all department and institute events, oversees the Department’s and Institute’s website and social media presence, and assists with course scheduling and program support. She studied Korean through the Korean flagship program at UHM, and conducted research on the relationship between linguistics, culture, and their influence on politics. In her free time, Deryni enjoys running, studying Korean language, and baking. In the future she hopes to further her education in international relations and diplomacy at Northeastern.
