Corie Mesa
Assistant Director of the Writing Center
Corie Mesa (she/her) is a PhD student in the English Department at Northeastern University, focusing on rhetoric and writing studies and digital humanities. Her research interests lie in classroom pedagogy and literacy studies, particularly as they pertain to how BIPOC and first-generation college students navigate language hierarchies in postsecondary education. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Corie never misses a chance to reminisce about sunny California or her three fur babies, General Meow, Juno, and Odin.
