Corie Mesa
Writing Center Tutor
Corie (she/her) is a PhD student in the English Department at Northeastern University, with a focus in composition studies, community engagement, and digital humanities. She is well-versed in MLA format, typical first-year composition genres (argument, rhetorical analysis, expository, etc), report writing, technical writing, annotated bibliographies, CVs/resumes, and scholarship applications. Corie has been teaching composition classes for five years at her alma mater, California State University, Northridge. She loves to talk about her cat and two dogs: Juno, Odin, and General Meow. If you have pets, too, she wants to hear about them (and maybe share some pictures)!
