Cayle O'Brien

Cayle O’Brien, MS, NIC, is happy to be a part of the American Sign Language–English Interpreting Education Program as the Lead Staff Interpreter.  She is an alumna of Northeastern’s ASLIE Program and continued on to earn a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern in 2021. Cayle worked as the Staff Interpreter/ Administrative Assistant at Northeastern for 3 and 1/2 years. She is very excited to begin the new role of Lead Staff Interpreter, beginning in 2022. Her favorite part of the job is being on campus and being able to connect with the students. Cayle currently serves on the leadership team of Novin|Boston, an organization focused on supporting personal and professional growth of novice interpreters as they transition into practicing professionals. Cayle loves being involved in the Deaf community, traveling, and camping whenever she can!
