Darrell LeMar

As Director of Business Development in CSSH, Darrell leads efforts to build, expand, and nurture strategic relationships with the corporate, philanthropic, and public sectors in support  the college’s Experiential Liberal Arts mission.

Darrell brings a wealth of experience in the public and non-profit sectors to CSSH. Darrell was the Executive Director of the Center for Professional and Continuing Education at Wentworth Institute of Technology, leading workforce development initiatives across the university to create customized educational offerings. Previously, Darrell served in various leadership roles in state government in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development as well as management positions in the non-profit sector at the AIDS Action Committee and Dorchester House. In all of these experiences, Darrell led efforts to create mission-driven strategic partnerships and connect opportunities to multiple audiences.

He is the recipient of the UMass Boston Public Service Award and was inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the international society for public administration. Darrell is an active member of the community in Boston, volunteering in organizations such as the FAMILY Board of Directors and Trinity Church’s elected delegate to the Episcopal City Mission in support of social justice initiatives.
