David Plancon

Budget Assistant (American Sign Language & World Language Center)

Dave Plancon is Budget Assistant for the American Sign Language Program as well as for the World Languages Center.  As an undergraduate concentrator in modern languages at B.U., he also took courses in psychology and economics.  After graduation, he earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in social sciences at Harvard, where he did additional course work in psychology and linguistics.  His bookkeeping activities began with a seventh-grade cash-book exercise and never stopped!  He has worked in departmental financial administration at Harvard, Tufts, and Mass. General Hospital.  He has had experience with the Deaf community at MGH and now is proud to serve Northeastern’s ASL Program.  His current preoccupations are translating and interpreting business situations for his customers and rendering high-quality accounting and administrative services to ASL and WLC.
