Deja Vaughn

Deja Vaughn is the Administrative Coordinator for the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Northeastern University. Her professional experience spans higher education, nonprofit administration, program coordination, compliance, fundraising, and international service, including work with Florida International University, Pine Street Inn, the Alpha-1 Foundation, and the Millennium Campus Network’s Global Admissions Committee. Through her work with the United Nations Academic Impact-affiliated Millennium Fellowship, she developed a particular interest in advancing solutions to complex social and global challenges through collaboration and public service. Her interests include public policy, international affairs, humanitarian action, nonprofit leadership, and social impact. She is passionate about connecting research, policy, and practice to create programs and partnerships that produce tangible change. At Northeastern, she hopes to deepen her understanding of policy and research while contributing to the School’s mission of developing innovative, interdisciplinary solutions to challenges facing communities locally and globally.
