Hailey Punis
Project Coordinator for Digital Archive of Indigenous Language Persistence
Hailey Punis is the Project Coordinator for the Digital Archive of Indigenous Language Persistence (DAILP), a community-based digital archive dedicated to supporting Indigenous peoples’ language learning and persistence. In her role, she oversees project, grant, and team management while maintaining DAILP’s public-facing materials. Hailey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University in spring 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in Art and Writing.
She has been part of the DAILP team since Spring 2025, previously serving in part-time roles as a Research Assistant and Assistant Project Manager. When a Research Assistant, she supported project planning and developed news stories highlighting DAILP events and community members for the project’s public-facing website.
