Helen Chong

Helen Chong, Associate Director of College Research Administration, is responsible for organizing and implementing operational procedures relating to grant and proposal development as well as providing pre- and post-award finance and administration support. She comes to us from Columbia University, where she supported the financial operations of a $40 million portfolio. Prior to Columbia, she worked at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), where she was charged with managing European Commission and Swiss National Science Foundation grants for three research labs, ensuring financial compliance, planning strategic activities with international partners, and implementing workflow for laboratory policies, procedures, and systems. She holds a BS in biology from Pace University.
