James Rollins

Jim Rollins joined CSSH from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where he served as Director of Finance and Administration and Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion.

At Tufts, Jim’s responsibilities as Director included managing the school’s day-to-day finances, research administration, human resources, faculty affairs, facilities management, and capital planning. As Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, he led the school’s efforts to develop and support a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.

Before his time at Fletcher, Jim held finance and administration positions at Harvard University and Stanford University. He also served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, with assignments that included administrative positions at the Pentagon, the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. During his free time, Jim has served on several non-profit boards, led numerous community service events, and created a national volunteer program honored in a White House ceremony for civic engagement programs.
