Joe Eveld has a BA in English from Northeastern University, an MFA in Fiction from the Creative Writing program at Boston University, and an MS in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University. He is a cancer survivor, amputee, and LGBTQIA+ poet, fiction writer, and poetry editor for The Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine. He was a finalist for Glimmer Train Magazine’s Short Story Award for New Writers, and has had poetry published in the Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine and Northeastern University’s Spectrum Literary Magazine, and is currently working on his first novel.
