Kathleen Downey

Kathleen Downey is the Program Coordinator in the Department of Economics, where she manages the department’s online and print communications, including its website, SharePoint, and social media. She plans and manages department events, handles Concur expense reconciliation, and advises faculty on administrative processes and systems. Kathleen has provided research and editorial assistance on numerous academic articles and three books. She served as Conference Coordinator for the annual International Industrial Organization Conference (IIOC) from 2006 to 2023 and for the North East Universities Development Consortium (NEUDC) in 2024. For these large international economics conferences, she led all aspects of planning and execution, including logistics, communications, and coordination with venues, vendors, and participants.
