Omri Leshem is a Project and Research Assistant Co-op at the Ethics Institute. A Computer Science and Philosophy combined major at Northeastern University in his senior year, Omri is interested in the intersection of technology and ethics, with a special interest in AI ethics. With experience as a Software Engineer at Mastercam, a manufacturing software company, and CapitalOne, Omri brings an interdisciplinary eye towards philosophical work. Post-graduation, Omri is interested in pursuing software engineering full-time, with a possibility of grad school in philosophy down the line. In his free time, he enjoys drinking tea, biking, and listening to music.
