Shannon Usher

Shannon is the primary contact for Political Science graduate and PhD programs, including the Resilience Studies program. Additionally, she supports the Applied Quantitative Methods and Social Analysis (AQMS) MS program as well. She works closely with each program director in the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures, student support services, graduate recruitment, and program administration.

Shannon is the primary contact for any prospective graduate students seeking program or application information and is happy to connect applicants to current students and department faculty upon request. She also manages department social media pages and website administration, as well as membership for the department’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
