Dean's Strategy Council Member

Stephanie Behrakis Liakos (BS ’88) is a trustee and the executive director of the Behrakis Foundation, a position she has held since 1996. Previously she was a project manager and health economist for a pharmaceutical company. She holds a bachelor of science in economics from Northeastern’s College of Arts and Science and a master of arts in economic policy from Boston University. She was a PhD candidate in economics at Northeastern from 1991 to 1993. In 1996 she completed a certificate in pharmaceutical economics and outcomes from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. She is a board member of Project Learn, an educational task force for the implementation of STEM programs in Lowell; an overseer at the Museum of Science; and founder of the Comfort Dog Ministry at Hellenic College/Boston Greek Orthodox Diocese. She is married and the mother of a middle school son and high school daughter.
