Social Sciences for the 21st Century
Northeastern’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) is bringing an interdisciplinary approach, experiential opportunities, and the integration of tech and data techniques to the social sciences. By augmenting traditional skills – research, analysis – with new proficiencies – text mining, data visualization – our programs prepare students to meet the challenges of the 21st century, from income inequality and climate change to city planning and social policy.
MS Economics in Seattle
Our MS Economics with a Data Science concentration, now available in both Boston and Seattle, gives students the opportunity to integrate applied econometrics with data visualization and computational modeling. Northeastern University—Seattle, located in South Lake Union, is at the epicenter of technology, innovation, and discovery, allowing students a unique opportunity to engage with tech companies through co-op and projects embedded in courses.
