Casey is pursuing her doctoral studies at Northeastern’s School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs studying systems of social influence and their impact on dialogue and democratic participation, specifically towards climate change. Prior to graduate school, Casey worked as a designer and software engineer, spending her free time advocating for federal climate legislation. Additionally, Casey spent the last two years conducting independent research on climate attitudes and political engagement in Portland, Maine, partially in affiliation with the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard Law School.
