Emily Sandercock

PhD in World History

Emily Sandercock is a first-year PhD student in World History at Northeastern University. She received a BA from Arcadia University in Political Science in 2018 and an MPhil in American History from the University of Cambridge in 2020. Before coming to Northeastern, Emily worked in community services at a library and in English education in Spain and South Korea. Her research will focus on the manifestations of intellectual trends in the United States at the turn of the twentieth century, particularly examining utopian thought amid industrialization and early globalization.
