Ilana Goldstein

English PhD student

Ilana Goldstein (she/her/hers) is a Ph.D. student in the English Department in CSSH. Her fields of study primarily include Jewish Studies and Literature, Trauma Studies, and Holocaust Literature. Her primary focus is on “post-generations” in novels, graphic novels and memoirs, and film to explore the narrative fractures that occur when inherited Jewish traumas grate against American identity and cultural practices. Ilana received her MA in English from George Washington University, as well as her BA in English Education from Ithaca College.
