Kamryn Trapane
Sociology PhD Student
Kamryn joined Northeastern University in the Fall of 2024. She holds a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in sociology from Texas State University. Her research focuses on religion, social psychology, political sociology, and race and ethnicity. Previously, her research looked at how undergraduate students at Texas State University perceived news headlines based on the topic of white Christian nationalism, how movies depict cults, and how the system of a non-affiliated Baptist church functions. She hopes to continue research on religion with an emphasis on mental health, neurodiversity, and white nationalism.
