Lauren Arena

Criminology and Criminal Justice, MS

Lauren Arena is a masters student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University. Her research interests include crime prevention, specifically around police accountability work. Since arriving at Northeastern, Lauren has worked as a research assistant to Dr. Eric Piza in the Crime Prevention Lab. Prior to her study at Northeastern, Lauren worked as a Research Assistant at her undergraduate university working with Body-Camera Footage as well as working as a senior research intern for UNY-PRC, where she presented research at a regional sociology symposium.
