Volunteer Experience

  • Leo volunteers at Green Bird Boston, a Japanese volunteering organization focused on city cleaning. Every month, the group cleans public spaces around the city.
  • Leo takes part in UNICEF Volunteering, working at nearby schools and organizations to support underserved children.

Experiential Education:

Leo took a co-op as a DEI Specialist Consultant at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Here, he worked on sustaining Liberty’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion framework during a challenging policy environment. He was also responsible for developing strategy reports and advising leadership on DEI initiatives.

He also participated in the Dialogue of Civilizations Challenges to the Nation-State: Spain with Professor José Buscaglia. On this DOC, he studied the political, cultural, and economic challenges to state sovereignty, with a focus on Catalonia and the Basque Country.

Leo is also on the UNICEF Northeastern Research Team, where he works to produce credit-bearing policy research papers addressing global child rights issues.
