Experiential Education:

Mae participated in a research study abroad semester over summer 2022 through the Social and Environmental Justice Study Dialogue of Civilizations Program in Rome, Italy. She researched anthropogenic climate change and new migration patterns, producing a climate and social justice analysis of environmentally displaced people in Italy. Mae has also completed two co-ops: her first at a Boston-based World Affairs Council, WorldBoston, where she acted as a Program Associate for Outreach (2023), and her second at a national laboratory, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where she acted as a LEAD Student co-op in the Security Services Department (2024).
