Rong Bao
PhD in Public Policy
Rong Bao is a first-year PhD in Public Policy student, specializing in sustainability and resilience. Her research explores global environmental governance and the role of intergovernmental institutions. Before joining Northeastern, she earned a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and spent two years at the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy working on international trade law and climate change. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies and Geography from the University of Richmond and a certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science. With more than eight years of experience in environment and climate change, she has worked with the United Nations and co-founded an environmental NGO in China.
