Samantha Frost
MA in Public History
Samantha Frost graduated summa cum laude from Framingham State University in December 2021 with a BA in history and minors in anthropology and museum studies. Her undergraduate honors thesis, “‘Not all the Gems that Sparkle in the Mine, Can make the Fair with so much Lustre Shine’: The Gendered Implications of the Homespun Movement during the American Revolution,” earned her the Nels Andrew Cleven Founder’s award in undergraduate research from the Phi Alpha Theta honor society. Sam has interned at numerous museums, historical societies, and cultural institutions, including Old Sturbridge Village, the Worcester Art Museum, the Springfield Museums, the Hingham Historical Society, the Old North Church, and Historic New England.
