Sebastián Ramirez
PhD in Public Policy
Sebastián is a PhD student in Public Policy at Northeastern University. His research interests are development economics and experimental economics. His primary focus is on education and inclusion, focusing on gender and social norms. He is also interested in the effects of violence on human development. Before joining Northeastern, he worked as a consultant on the Human Development Team of the World Bank’s Development Research Group and the Inter-American Development Bank. He obtained his master’s in Economics from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and his B.A. in Psychology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
