Zobeida Chaffee-Valdes
M.A. in Public History
Zobeida Chaffee-Valdes is earning a masters degree Public History and Digital Humanities at Northeastern University. Having earned a BA in History from Carleton College in 2019 with concentrations in Archaeology and Medieval Studies, Zobeida is interested in using Digital Humanities as an interpretive and educational tool. Zobeida has worked with Northeastern’s Archives and Special Collections, Essex National Heritage Area, and Boston National Historical Parks to research the histories of local political and social movements.

Fieldwork: Boston National Historical Park, Northeastern Archives and Special Collections, the Women Writers Project, Essex County National Heritage Area, and the Southern Oral History Program.
